Prepare for adversity
It must surely come

Unashamedly
Wearing your heart on your sleeve
Sharing the real you

Without ritual
Encoded in the stillness
Heat the soft whisper

Profound clarity
Seeming to come from nowhere
A flash of insight

Ask the right question
Not:  “Why is this happening?”
“What is this teaching?”

Ride the ups and downs
An endless rollercoaster
Hang on while you can

Moment by moment
Observe calmly, no judgement
Note and then let go

Not just by actions
But by the choices we make
We show who we are

Rest, heal and renew
Do not let stress define you
Let it melt away

An ocean of souls
Seemingly separated
Eternally one

A cage built from shame
Through loyalty to a ghost
Choose to be released

Only a fool mocks:
That which is not understood,
Learn to comprehend

An endless spiral
But does it go up or down?
Decide for yourself

Never standing still
Reach a bit further each day
Enriched by your growth

Nothing comes for free
Nothing ventured, nothing have
Exchanged for nothing
