It’s not always fun
Find within the discomfort
A measure of pride

Not just in meditation
A practice for life

As if by magic
When the mind is uncluttered
New insights ąppear

The ultimate test:
The surliness of others;
Will it swing your mood?

Soak up the fresh air
Ease the mind with nature’s balm 
Repeat as required

Don’t dissuade yourself
Show mental perseverance

Born at the threshold
Where the veil is its thinnest
