Obligations can be left
Best though if they aren’t

Coming together
A ritual of sharing
Reconfirming bonds

Food, water, shelter
Easy to take for granted
But not for many

Between the columns
The unseen path of balance
The lion and lamb

Neither here nor there
Not quite lost, and not quite found
Moving with what moves

In the great divide
Too far on to continue
Too far to turn back

Clear the chaotic
Order creates momentum
Working for your good

Follow your hunches
Whispering intuition
The gut never lies

Without improved self
No improved circumstances
Nothing for nothing

A steady heart and head
While turbulence surrounds you
Calm and undeterred

A burning desire
The will to achieve fixed firm 
Bridges burned behind

The ends of the scale
Identical in nature
Different in degree

Wherever you are
It deserves full attention
Be there totally

Old habits outgrown
Like a garment cast aside
Ready for the new

Capture the moment
Distill the essence of it
Thankful for the gift
