No time to lie in
When there are dogs in your life
It’s get up and go!

Do not be put off.
Learn to cope with the curve-balls;
Take them in your stride.

If there be no fear,
Neither can there be courage;
One needs the other.

Unexpectedly,
While you weren’t even looking
Something good appeared

As knowledge accrues
It must be put to good use,
Or what is the point?

Finding your purpose:
Look within to see what counts,
And there it is found.

When the penny drops,
What was hidden is revealed;
All makes sense again.

Despite our wishes
Time will not flow back upstream;
Live for the future.

Tide at lowest ebb,
Years of scars come into view;
See  what lies beneath.

Do not just read, act.
Put your learning to practice,
Make something better.

Do not resist it;
The flow of life will guide you
Where you need to go.

Accept who you are,
The author of your own life.
Use your power well.

Endlessly flowing,
We can never encounter 
The same river twice.

Always strive for more;
No matter how hard you try,
You can be better.

It’s not the mountain
But the pebble in your shoe
That will grind you down.
