Glasses case snaps closed
Gentle tap of paw on leg
It’s time for a walk

The heart and the mind
Like Jupiter and Venus 
Perfectly aligned

Always remain calm.
Things outside of our control 
Will be as they are.

The journey is long
Look for joy in the small things
Treasure each moment

Progress can feel slow
The yardstick seems much too long
Bigger steps will come

Step by patient step
Be the change you want to see;
Don’t wait for others.

Ears flap in the breeze,
Wind ruffles furry noses.
Big sniffs in long grass.

Brighter days ahead;
The long march out of winter
Approaches it’s end.

Growth is possible
When we no longer accept
What offends our soul

Help others to grow
Give advice with compassion
Criticism wounds 

Don’t turn a blind eye:
A kind word to a stranger
Is a priceless gift

The circle of life,
Like the passing of seasons;
Constant renewal

Time spent with true friends;
A gift with more than pure gold.
Amass your fortune

Persistence, desire,
Definiteness of purpose
Make thoughts powerful.
