When others need assistance;
Your turn will come soon.

Unfailingly sure,
The cycle of the seasons
Begins once again.

We search far and wide
Whilst under our very nose
Hidden treasure lies.

Do not just read books;
Learn from that which you have read.
Show yourself improved.

Ceaselessly changing,
Nothing can remain the same
But for an instant.

Each challenge conquered,
Adversity overcome;
Character is forged.

Look for your balance.
Virtues lie between extremes:
Find the golden mean.

The heaviest blow
Is unanticipated;
So plan carefully.

Treat not just disease,
But counteract its causes;
Cure the imbalance.

Caught in the downpour.
Really should have seen those clouds.
Be more attentive.

Vertical grey streaks
Falling in sheets from the sky,
Splashing on my shoes.

Speed is not the key:
Progress comes at its own pace.
It cannot be forced.

If you look closely
In the midst of the turmoil;
Chances are waiting.

Winter is not done:
Cold winds and rain reappear.
Spring will have to fight!

Clocks have gone forward:
Steady lengthening of days
Guiding in summer.
