Motivation comes
Procrastination over
Let progress commence

Unafraid of change
See the possibilities
Learn to embrace them

Declutter the mind
Let the fresh air soak right in
Clarity at last

Not mere obstacles
Challenges to overcome
A path to learning

Bring beginner’s mind
A sense of the curious
Potential for awe

As the peak is reached
See across the next valley
More summits rise up

Truly present now
Each moment a new wonder
Waiting to amaze

Procrastination
Held in the balance too long
Progress made at last

Self deprecation
Fine as long as it’s a joke
Believe in yourself

A gauntlet thrown down
Fired up for the challenge
Rise up to meet it

The dangling carrot
Soon it will be within sight
Keep plugging away

Seek to clarify
Don’t stumble in the darkness
Get the lights turned on

Harder than you thought
But still not impossible
Believe to achieve

Nicely settled in
The realisation hits
Change is coming soon

How far you have come
Look back and see the progress
Smile inwardly
