You can outwit it;
The devil in the detail
Keep a steady head

A balancing act
Lots of plates to keep spinning
Don’t let any drop 

Just hold your horses
No need to rush into things
Pause for a moment

Another slight glitch
Don’t see it as a setback
But a stepping stone

It can’t be that bad
Don’t be such a drama queen
Get it over with

A curious mind
Eager for something to learn
So many questions

Not from circumstance
Contentment comes from within
A choice that you make

So many dramas
Most of them never happened
Calm the racing mind

A punch in the gut
The wind knocked out of your sails
Stop, take a deep breath

Taken steadily
Even the longest journey
Reaches it’s end point

Time to make it count
Dig deep and put the work in
Satisfaction earned
